Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

Pelvic health physiotherapy is the assessment and treatment of various conditions that involve the pelvic floor. Our pelvic physiotherapists will complete a complete a thorough assessment and create an individualized plan that includes education, pelvic floor exercises and stretches, abdominal work, relaxation techniques. 

 

Whether it's during pregnancy, birth prep, postpartum or menopause, we will help improve your bladder, bowel and/or sexual health. 

Paediatric Physiotherapy

Our physiotherapists assess and treat the diverse needs of your child and help them reach their functional goals. This includes gross motor delays, torticollis, plagiocephaly and moreWe also have specialized training to help with pelvic health dysfunctions, such as bedwetting and constipation, and/or help with toilet learning. 

Our physiotherapists use a combination of hands-on treatment and exercise prescription through fun and functional activities.

Sport Injury Rehabilitation

Low Back Pain

Don't let back pain keep you from living your life to the fullest. With Raise The Bar: Physiotherapy each patient undergoes a comprehensive assessment to determine the nature of the problem. For treatment we apply the most recent scientific consensus and expertise in order to address your back pain. 

Treatment may include a combination of manual therapy, McKenzie method, exercise prescription, biopsychosocial model, and other modalities. 

Temporomandibular (TMJ) Joint Pain & Dysfunction

A lot of our patients were surprised to learn that physiotherapy can resolve their jaw issues. TMJ physio may not be offered everywhere but our staff are highly trained to provide treatment for reduced range of motion, pain, and instability. 

Physiotherapy in many cases is very safe and an effective intervention. Surgery, night guards, and injections are often not required.

Concussion

Concussions require comprehensive assessment and treatment. Suffering from the symptoms can be extremely difficult for some, and navigating the recovery process can also be confusing.

Fortunately, there is a lot of research and expertise out there to help. We want to be there for you whether you just recently hurt yourself or if you have been dealing with persisting symptoms for years.
