Clinic Guidelines & Policies

Our guidelines were formulated through collaboration with our team members, practitioners, and clients. Our goal is to establish a safe environment where every person feels acknowledged, listened to, and upheld. With this intention, we've outlined our key approaches.

Cancellations

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists' day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment by either phone, email or through your Jane profile. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee to the card on file. This will be at the discretion of your care provider and based on a discussion with you both.

Individual Sessions

To ensure the highest quality of care your provider sets aside a considerable amount of time for your sessions. As such, we ask that you be respectful and responsible of your time together and should you need to reschedule or cancel, please provide at least 2 business days’ notice by either phone, email or through your Jane profile. Missed or late cancellations (less than 2 business days) will be charged a partial (50%) class fee. This will be at the discretion of your care provider and based on a discussion with you both.

Group Sessions

Working with a Physiotherapy Assistant
(Individual or Group Rehab Sessions)

These sessions may be covered by private health insurance under Physiotherapy if you:

  • Currently under active care with your Physiotherapist (ie. have been assessed by your Physiotherapist and have active physiotherapy rehab goals)

  • Attend the sessions

If you are not currently under active Physiotherapy care and you are interested in these sessions and/or classes, a Physiotherapy assessment is required prior to the start of class to determine if it is an appropriate form of care for you. Please call us to book your initial assessment and reserve your spot in class. An electronic receipt will be provided after each class.

Please check with your individual insurance company to determine if working with a physiotherapy assistance and/or rehab classes will be covered under Physiotherapy.
